The Grizzlies came up big Thursday night, pitching a shutout in an 8-0 win over Albuquerque at Chukchansi Park.
By holding the Isotopes scoreless, the Grizzlies activated a promotion that allows fans to get a free Jumbo Jack at participating Jack in the Box locations in Fresno with the purchase of a large drink.

Grizzlies starter Joe Musgrove, who had just been demoted by major league parent club Houston and was making his first start with the Triple-A Grizzlies this season, allowed one hit in seven scoreless innings.
Ashur Tolliver, who has an 8.14 ERA, closed it out with scoreless eighth and ninth innings on “Tribute to Springfield Night” (think “The Simpsons”).
The Grizzlies have a season-high seven-game winning streak.
Still, it seemed unlikely that the Grizzlies could trigger the promotion.
Of the 16 teams in the Pacific Coast League, and among the 30 in Triple-A, the Grizzlies owned the very worst ERA at 5.83 entering Thursday.

But the Grizzlies have had the Isotopes’ number this season. Fresno’s last shutout had come May 28 – a 7-0 win at home against the Isotopes.
