The Buzz: Top-ranked Clovis West can all but wrap up the top seed in the Division I playoffs with a win at rival and No. 2-ranked Buchanan on Wednesday.

Defending section champ Clovis holds steady at No. 3 after winning Clovis West tournament over the weekend, topping new No. 4 Clovis East in the final.

The Buzz: With Porterville, arguably the second best team around, competing in D-II, Tristin Baxter-powered Clovis West continues to march toward a 10th Central Section title.

El Diamante, which has taken control of the West Yosemite League, is emerging as Porterville's biggest threat in D-II.
