No. 1 seed Clovis West beat No. 4 Bakersfield 69-44 on Tuesday in a Division I semifinal to set up a "three-peat" matchup in Saturday's final between the Golden Eagles and No. 2 seed Stockdale. Stockdale beat Edison in the other Division I semifinal, 70-55.

Clovis West beat Stockdale in the past two Central Section championship games.

Clovis West coach Greg Campbell said foul trouble kept his team from getting into a flow early. But his team pounced in the third quarter, outscoring Bakersfield 21-6 en route to a 59-35 lead heading into the fourth quarter.

Combo guard Bri Orlich led all scorers with 26 points.

No. 3 Edison 55, No. 2 Stockdale 70: Edison came into this semifinal game with a 21-game win streak, but an aggressive Stockdale team, which owned a 20-game win streak of its own, powered to an early lead that proved insurmountable.

Stockdale outscored Edison 27-11 in the first quarter, using stifling pressure defense. Stockdale's Jalei Kinder scored 16 in the opening quarter.

Division II

No. 2 Garces 69, No. 3 Sanger 45: Veronica Gines had 17 points, but the Apaches fell to Garces and Catlin Bernardin's 27.

Division III

No. 2 Porterville 57, No. 3 Hanford West 53: Kayla Hill had 20 points as the Panthers won. Rachel Fleming scored 12 of her 15 in the second half for Hanford West.

Division IV

No. 1 Corcoran 58, No. 4 Memorial 46: Tabby Torres totaled 17 points, seven assists and five steals to lead Corcoran to its 17th straight win. She hit 6 of 7 free throws in the fourth quarter. Toni Anaya had 14 for Memorial.

Kingsburg 57, Mission Prep 45: Shaylee Yano scored 19 points for the Vikings, which held Mission Prep to three points in the third quarter.

Division V

No. 1 Fresno Christian 63, No. 4 Central Valley Christian 52: The Eagles are going to their third straight Central Section championship game.

Junior forward Paige Armstrong-Maltos led all scorers with 19 points and senior point guard Larissa Hensley added 15 for the Eagles (21-5), section runners-up the past two seasons.

Anneka Verhoeven led the Cavaliers (15-15) with 15 points.

No. 2 Coast Union 58, No. 3 Immanuel 26: The Eagles' Stephanie Cervantes scored 12, but Coast Union held the Eagles to single-digit scoring in the final three quarters.
