BOYS BASKETBALL
Harvey Williams scored 28 points and Cameron Brackett 23 to lead Washington past Madera South 80-64 to clinch a tie for the North Sequoia League championship -- the Panthers' state-record 15th consecutive league title.
Micah Hiett had 17 points, 15 rebounds, six steals and three blocks as Immanuel claimed its third straight Central Sequoia League Championship with a 63-34 win against Selma. Cody Medeiros added 12 points, 11 rebounds and eight assists for the Eagles.
Brandon Castillo scored a game-high 29 points as Fowler defeated Caruthers 81-75 in overtime in the Southwest Sierra League. Austin Reid scored 28 points in the defeat for the Blue Raiders.
