GIRLS BASKETBALL
Claire Tirapelle had 20 points with nine rebounds, five assists and four steals as No. 3 Sanger defeated No. 6 Monache 69-57 in a Division II game.
Sophomore post player Sydnee Fipps scored 25 points with 12 rebounds - her 16th straight double-double - in No. 4 Yosemite's 63-39 rout of No. 5 Redwood in D-II.
No. 1 Roosevelt beat No. 9 Arvin 75-55 for its 14th straight win behind Lashari Clayborne's 27 points and Jonae Theus' 20 points and 15 rebounds in D-III.
Iliana Rodriguez scored a career-high 16 points to power No. 4 Memorial to a 50-42 victory over No. 5 Sierra in Division IV.
Morgan Hatten scored 16 points, and Brianna Orlich and Janae Coffee had 15 apiece, as No. 1 Clovis West, the defending D-I champion, opened the playoffs with a 59-27 rout of No. 8 Centennial.
Kortani Brown's 21 points paced No. 3 Edison's 73-46 win over No. 6 Clovis East in D-I. Erikka Banks had a game-high 22 points for the Timberwolves.
Megan Smith poured in 21 points and Stephanie Cervantes added 18 to help No. 6 Immanuel shock No. 3 Strathmore 48-38 in D-V.
