BOYS BASKETBALL

Michael Faccinto scored 13 points, Cougar Williams added 11 and Hanford outscored rival Hanford West 15-12 in the fourth quarter to secure a 51-42 victory.

Jackson Carbajal scored 15 points, Corvaughn Archie had 11 and Skyler Silva delivered 10 as Buchanan upset No. 2 Clovis West 56-50, driving the eight-year reigning Tri-River Athletic Conference champion three games behind Clovis East with three to go.

Saig Horn, a long-range shooting specialist, scored 21 points and Kevin Bailey added 18 as No. 1 Clovis East clinched at least a tie for the TRAC title with an 82-65 win at No. 5 Central.

Freshman Javontae Johnson converted a three-point play in the final minutes as Roosevelt edged Madera South 59-51.
