BALLS, BATS AND BUZZ
Will Bullard be tested again before the postseason? The top-ranked Knights have won 12 straight games, including a perfect run through the first half of County/Metro Athletic Conference play. Only Hoover and Sanger were within two runs of Bullard during their first-round meetings.
Does anyone want to win the Tri-River Athletic Conference? In a makeup game last week, league-leading Central suffered its first loss against Clovis East, which entered without a TRAC win. Buchanan, Madera and Clovis West are all within striking distance of the Grizzlies.
The top two teams in divisions IV and V have flipped spots following Washington's 4-2 victory over Kerman and Riverdale's 3-2 win against Fowler last week.
