BALLS, BATS AND BUZZ

Bullard made the most of a busy week, winning six times to take over the top spot in The Bee's rankings. The Knights opened the week by going 4-0 at the Best of the West tournament in Santa Maria, capped by a 3-1 victory over highly regarded Thousand Oaks in the final. Bullard also scored County/Metro Athletic wins over Reedley and Edison.

Central makes its rankings debut at No. 8 after winning the Folsom Bulldog Classic title. Amanda Santiago had a double and 3 RBIs in the Grizzlies' 8-2 victory over Lincoln-Stockton in the final.

After a 3-1 North Sequoia League victory over Washington last week, Kerman has established itself at the team to beat in Division IV.
