BASEBALL
In Division II, Harper White had a two-run homer in the second inning, leading top seed El Diamante past No. 16 Garces 15-5.
Trailing 4-2 entering the fifth inning in a D-II matchup, No. 10 Golden West broke out the big bats in an eight-run inning en route to an 18-10 victory over No. 7 East Bakersfield. Shawn White went 3 for 6 with a home run and five RBIs for the Trailblazers, and teammate Dax Turner belted a home run and drove in four.
Cody Skaggs, Pablo Reyes and Michael Hostetler each had an RBI in a four-run fourth inning, propelling No. 11 Hanford West to a 7-6 victory over No. 6 Yosemite in Division III.
