School: Kingsburg

Position: Pitcher

Year: Senior

She's qualified because: Hamlin handled the pressure in the circle and at bat. She didn't give up an earned run in 20 innings during the Vikings' 3-0 playoff run for their second straight D-IV title. She went 23-4 with an ERA of 1.22. She was named MVP of the Central Sequoia League and had a league-best 1.51 ERA along with hitting .580 (29 hits). Defensively, she had two errors in 88 chances.

The word: "She was a fifth infielder and not just a pitcher, and gloved anything within her vicinity. She was the key in us winning the CSL title and the Valley championship." -- Kingsburg coach Cristal Brown
