School: Bullard

Position: First base

Year: Senior

She's qualified because: Thomsen is one of the most feared lefty power hitters in the area and state. She was named Player of the Year in the County/Metro Athletic Conference. Her dominance is reflected in 10 school records.

The word: "Christine is an exceptional player. It is not often that someone of her caliber arrives in the Valley. She broke records that were held by future college All-Americans and some of the best softball players in the area. She did all this with a great attitude, a love for the game and a relaxed, yet intense presence on the field." -- Bullard coach Jaime Maxey
