Stroke average: 73.25 (four 18-hole tournaments; 9-hole scores not available)
She's qualified because: Won Central Section title for the second straight year, shooting 2-under 71 at Sunnyside Country Club. Finished 20th at SoCal regional, shooting 5-over 77. Was one of few Central Section girls to earn a Division I scholarship (Washington State). Also a four-time East Yosemite League champion. Won Central Area with a 74 at Valley Oaks in Visalia.
Defining moment: A couple over par after four holes in the section tournament at Sunnyside Country Club, Allard birdied Nos. 5, 6 and 7, lipped out a birdie putt on 8 and birdied 9 to finish the front nine at 2-under. She shot even-par on the back to cruise in at 2-under 71 and beat Madchen Ly by four shots. "The first few holes were shaky, but then it started going and it felt great," Allard said.
The word: "Kristen's strengths are her commitment to competition and to the game itself. As high school athletes go, I have never seen one more determined. To watch her hit balls is awesome, to watch her hit balls in competition against other girls is amazing." -- Monache coach Jake Winter
Opposing take: "She's in a league of her own in the Valley. There's nothing she can't do, she set the standard, by far. We don't get many girls [from the Valley], historically, go to D-I schools." -- Clovis coach Ron Webb.
