Defending national champion Alabama is the latest major-college football program to offer Buchanan High running back Kendall Milton a scholarship.
Milton, who will be a junior in the fall, took to Twitter to make the announcement of the offer from the Crimson Tide saying “he’s very humbled.”
Milton said Buchanan coach Matt Giordano told him he had “someone special who wanted to talk to me, so I wasn’t sure who it was.”

He was watching television when his cell phone rang and it was Alabama defensive coordinator Tosh Lupoi.
“Coach Lupoi said coach (Nick) Saban watched my film and was impressed,” Milton said. “It means a lot, coming from consistently the best college football program in the country.”
The 6-foot-2, 208-pounder already has 22 offers.
