Fresno State defeated Idaho 31-21 Saturday night at the Kibbie Dome in Moscow, Idaho. The Bulldogs improve to 6-3, 5-1 in the WAC and play at Nevada next Saturday at 1 p.m.

4TH QUARTER RECAP

Idaho's Brian Reader connected with Maurice Shaw on a 69-yard pass with 25 seconds to go in regulation. A two-point pass play was no good.

Idaho was driving but DeMaundray Woolridge fumbled and Ben Jacobs recovered for the Bulldogs at the Fresno State 24.

Idaho scored on a 4-yard run by Brian Reader with 12:21 left in the fourth quarter. The Vandals converted a two-point pass play to cut Fresno State's lead to 31-15.

3RD QUARTER RECAP

Ryan Mathews scored from 1 yard out to increase Fresno State's lead. The kick by Kevin Goesssling is good, Bulldogs lead 31-7 with 47 seconds on the clock in the third quarter.

Idaho scored on a 14-yard pass from Brian Reader to Max Komar and Trey Farquhar's extra point kick is good. Fresno State leads 24-7 with 5:51 to go in the third quarter.

Fresno State was forced to punt to Idaho on its first possession of the third quarter. Bulldogs lead 24-0.

Idaho moved into Bulldogs' territory, but failed to convert on a fourth down attempt and Fresno State took over on downs.

2ND QUARTER RECAP

Ryan Mathews scored his second touchdown on a 1-yard plunge and Kevin Goessling's kick increases Fresno State's lead to 24-0 over Idaho with 1:07 left in the second quarter.

Fresno State only moved out to its own 31 on the first possession of the second quarter and then punted to Idaho leading 17-0.

1ST QUARTER RECAP

Kevin Goessling made a 52-yard field goal with 1:26 to go in the first quarter. Fresno State leads 17-0.

Fresno State scores on a 18-yard pass from Ryan Colburn to Seyi Ajirotutu. Kevin Goessling's point-after kick is good and the Bulldogs lead Idaho 14-0 with 8:32 to go in the first quarter.

Idaho's Trey Farquhar missed a 54-yard field goal on the Vandals' first drive. Fresno State leads 7-0 with 11:10 left in the first quarter.

Fresno State's Ryan Mathews took the first handoff of the game 77 yards to the end zone. Kevin Goessling's extra point kick is good and the Bulldogs lead 7-0 with 14:41 to go in the first quarter.
