Fresno State senior guard Ashley Walker has been suspended indefinitely for violation of team rules, women's basketball coach Adrian Wiggins said Wednesday.

Wiggins would not disclose the nature of the violation nor say for sure whether Walker will miss any games.

"Hopefully not. It will depend on her and getting things squared away," Wiggins said. "She will miss some things and will have to work her way back."

The Bulldogs host Fresno Pacific on Wednesday in an exhibition as a tune- up for the regular-season opener at UC Santa Barbara on Nov. 13.

Walker, a transfer from Trinity Valley Community College in Texas, was a reserve for Fresno State's 2008-09 Western Athletic Conference championship team. She averaged 5.3 points, making 40 3-pointers on 33% accuracy in 31 games.
