Fresno State safety Moses Harris is among 16 finalists for the Campbell Trophy, given to the nation's top senior scholar-athlete in college football.

The Campbell Trophy is presented by the National Football Foundation and College Hall of Fame. The winner receives $25,000 in scholarship money. All the finalists receive an $18,000 scholarship toward postgraduate studies.

Other finalists announced Thursday include Illinois guard Jon Asamoah; Brigham Young linebacker Matt Bauman; Texas quarterback Colt McCoy; and Florida quarterback Tim Tebow.

The trophy will be handed out in New York in December at the NFF's Hall of Fame induction banquet.

Harris is the second Bulldog to become a finalist. Vernon Fox was up for what was then known as the Draddy Trophy in 2001.
