Connor Brogdon pitched five hitless innings and had 10 strikeouts as Fresno City rolled past West Hills 14-1 in a Central Valley Conference baseball game at John Euless Ballpark on Tuesday night.
Brogdon (4-0) was backed by Daniel Gardner, who went 4 for 4 with a triple, three runs and four RBIs. Tucker Salles and RJ Hartmann each drove in two runs for the Rams (9-2, 4-0).
The Falcons fell to 3-10 and 0-4.
• Sequoias opened up defense of its CVC crown with a 5-1 victory over Merced, with starter Jonathon Molina pitching six innings to run his record to 2-0.
