Architectural gem up for sale in Fresno
Exterior shot of the Mundorff House view from Balch Ave. Steve Lewis, a Fresno State professor, and his wife Nancy Ellis are selling their home known as the Mundorff House after eight years of living in it. Lewis is taking a new job as dean of a school in Santa Rosa. The house is on the local register of historic resources. It was built by Greene & Greene architects who were well known in Pasadena and the architects of the Gamble House (whose exterior was used as Doc's home in the Back to the Future movie). They built it for Mrs. Howard F. Mundorff, wife of a retired San Francisco baseball player, in 1917.
