Thank you to Jack Ohman for his political cartoon July 17. For those who did not see it, or maybe did not get it:
On Dec. 12, 2000, five Republicans on the Supreme Court offered their opinion that George W. Bush should become president.
On July 7, 2016, Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg offered her opinion that “she couldn’t imagine what the country would be like with Donald Trump as president.”
She had no reason to apologize, thus producing a nasty tweet from the Donald about her. Someone tell me, what is the difference here?
Never miss a local story.
