A resident of a small Indiana town won an estimated $540 million in the Mega Millions jackpot.
I’m sure most people would be quite happy with one tenth of that. Why not make it so a person could win up to $50 million max? If no one wins during a drawing, it rolls over, until the next cut-off point. In the case of multiple winners, they split it, as is done now.
One person winning over a half billion dollars is insane. Creating 10 or more multimillionaires would be much better, and the money would go further than creating another semi-billionaire.
