The Dallas shootings are nothing less than a strike at the recent political atmosphere and conscience of the entire country. Are we descending to the level of a Third World country? I hope not.
I can say, as a former public servant, that the media frenzy we are now exposed to is not helping the situation. Everything in the media is focused on panic and distraction from the actual solutions to our cities.
Shame on every elected public servant who will not or does not have the fortitude to make a difference.
Protesters who block our streets should change the current situation from within. They should become a part of the process, of a positive process.
Now more than ever our voting process is important. Vote. God bless this country and all who live here. You should wake up tomorrow and be glad you were born in the United States and not take this country for granted. Go to another country and see how you are treated.
If you are so inclined, thank a veteran, cops included, for their service to everyone.
