Donald Trump received four college deferments between 1964 and 1968. He graduated from the Wharton School of Business in 1968.
Trump has said he remembers anxiously watching the draft lottery while being a student. However, the draft lottery did not take place until December 1969. In October of 1968, he was classified 1-Y because of a spur on one of his feet. Could this be because he had a rich influential father?
In 1966, he had been declared fit to serve in the military. You don’t have to wonder why so many more poor kids from the south were fighting the war than rich kids from New York.
Trump also has said that sleeping around was his personal Vietnam. I guess by not getting AIDS he felt like a war hero. Tell that to the parents of over 58,000 kids killed in Vietnam, not to mention all that were maimed.
Yet trump doesn’t think that Sen. John McCain is a war hero because he was captured. He wouldn’t have to worry, though, since the chances of being a prisoner of war for sleeping around would be very unlikely. You be the judge: war hero or draft dodger?
