It is the end of January, and here in Fresno, I am looking at beautiful green grass and bushes and plants starting to bloom. In the distance, I see the beautiful Sierra covered in snow. The air is crisp and clean. The skies are blue.
Driving down Highway 41, I see the highway has been cleaned of litter. I come home, turn on the news and see 85 million people are dealing with heavy snow and most of civilized life has come to a standstill. Can’t drive, can’t shop, can’t function.
It is times. like these, that with all of Fresno’s challenges, I feel blessed to have chosen to live here.
Never miss a local story.
