Buyer beware! I went to Fashion Fair shopping center before Christmas to buy my daughter a new cell phone. We stopped at one of the AT&T kiosks at the mall thinking they were a factory outlet. Big mistake.
We bought the phone and were told we had two weeks to return it if we were unhappy. My daughter’s son bought her a new case and cover for the phone. When he went to install the cover, he noticed the camera lens had a crack in it, so she took it back to exchange it. It was five days old.
She was told she damaged it. She hadn’t even used it because she was waiting for the case. Long story short, they would not exchange it. We then found out if we had purchased it at a factory store, it would have been exchanged.
We also found out the kiosks are independently owned, and AT&T could not help us. Buyer beware!
Never miss a local story.
