Are we all missing something here?
The majority of juvenile delinquents are raised with the wrong values. Respect is something that is taught and learned at home. Teachers are afraid to speak up because they fear being sued.
It’s not a racial thing (some people love using that card); it’s called “poor parenting.” It has nothing to do with growing up rich or poor, your race or growing up with only one parent.
Look at actor/director Tyler Perry. His childhood was horrible, but when he reached the age of knowing right from wrong and choosing the path in life he wanted, he did it without self-pity and turned out very successful.
Never miss a local story.
If you’re raising your children with a sense of entitlement, keep them home and deal with the monster you’ve created. Quit using the schools as day care. Taxpayers are tired of their hard-earned money going to waste. There’s no reason to create a position or job to fix these kids.
Put the responsibility where it belongs and that is at home.
