Fresno is my hometown and I visit often. I’m well aware of the drought conditions all over California and am doing all I can to conserve water.
As I drove down Herndon Avenue recently, I noticed several businesses that have big expanses of green grass with their sprinklers on and water running down the street. In addition, several other businesses still have their big fancy fountains running 24/7.
I see the same thing happening in San Jose. Where’s the disconnect? Didn’t businesses get the memo? We’re in the middle of a serious drought. Business owners, please be responsible and start conserving!
Never miss a local story.
