I find the fact that Heald College might go out of business very interesting.
When I attended Heald in 1975, one of the key selling points was that after completing the business course, I could return and take courses in the future at no expense.
I did return to Heald a few years ago to inquire about taking computer classes as a graduate of Heald. I was disappointed to learn that I could not. I would not even be given a discount. I wish I still had a copy of my contract so I could have pressed the point, but I did not.
I got a very bad feeling about the vocational school. It certainly did not live up to the high standard it did when I attended. It was very expensive and I felt that the school’s best interest was in making money rather than the benefit of it’s students.
If it closes, I will not be shocked.
