We owe farmers, growers and ranchers our gratitude every day we buy, serve and eat healthy food and especially on National Ag Day March 18.
Here in Fresno, Kings and Tulare counties, we appreciate the value of agriculture to our daily lives.
That’s why at PG&E, we are committed to helping our agricultural customers find solutions to weather the ongoing drought. Our agriculture customers depend on us to help reduce their energy use and their bills, while they try to keep their crops watered.
We’ve already taken a number of steps to assist our customers and we are launching new programs to continue this assistance.
Never miss a local story.
Last fall, we refunded more than $4 million in agricultural deposits back to customers. PG&E proactively reviewed accounts and reached out to eligible customers with deposit refunds.
We also partnered with the California Farm Bureau Federation on a request to the California Public Utilities Commission to delay the ordered termination of two agriculture energy rates.
Join us this National Ag Day, to thank the farmers, growers and ranchers.
