For generations of families, the name “Valley Children’s Hospital” represents trust and loving care for our children’s precious lives.
On Tuesday, Valley streets will once again be filled with Kids Day volunteers. They are friends and neighbors who epitomize selfless service to others by graciously giving from their hearts for the benefit of children they may or may not know.
The experience of fundraising for Valley Children’s is humbling and inspiring. I have seen that, in its purest form, the unconditional gift flows quietly away from the giver. Grace lives in that wondrous act.
Just imagine the message we could send future generations and the world on Kid’s Day by breaking a record of giving with single acts of kindness.
Never miss a local story.
I urge everyone to consider giving a gift and join the flow. A gift in any amount is a single act of kindness that does great good and has a ripple effect that spreads quickly.
So dear neighbors, please take some time to toss a pebble of kindness into the pond of giving, make a ripple of difference and join the grace. Valley Children’s is, after all, our hospital and they are our children.
