The increasingly popular phrase “science denier” is the latest fad.
It is used haphazardly like the “H” word (hate) or the “R” word (racism). It is a sad substitute for evidence to support a claim. Case in point: After all this time since Charles Darwin expected to find transitional fossils in abundance, only a severe lack has been uncovered. Scientists now aren’t trying to find them.
Instead, they simply change the narrative. Now the claim is they are all “transitional.” This is typical of pursuing science wherever it leads — unless it betrays our (evolutionary) ideology.
Indeed, I am the dreaded “science denier.” Or maybe I can simply see subterfuge when it masquerades as science.
