There is a lot of excitement brewing over word that a second novel will be coming from Harper Lee, author of the classic book, “To Kill a Mockingbird.”
Many young people were so moved when they read that book, they named their children after the characters. It’s a timeless story of loss of innocence and for many, completely unforgettable. The plot deals with race, class, gender roles, civil rights, justice and life in the South. In many ways it opened the eyes of a nation.
