I saw in the news that people are having their license plates or yearly stickers stolen. I let my stickers build up through the years and someone used a razor to slice off my year to use on their license plate.
It cost me $10 to get a new one. Don’t let your stickers build up over time. I have a solution. Scrape off the previous year and cut an X across the new one to prevent someone from scraping it off. For the license plate, go to the hardware store and get a package of one-way, non-removable screws to replace the ones on your back license plate.
If you have a vanity or handicap plate, don’t do this, because if you sell your vehicle, you will be unable to remove the screws without a special tool.
Never miss a local story.
