In a letter to The Bee (Jan. 15) Michael D. Perry of Kerman complained about his truck, containing his wallet and keys, being stolen while he was in Fresno. Though off the subject, he goes on to display his political biases by further complaining about liberals unwisely spending his hard-earned tax dollars.
In my experience I’ve found people like Michael who have an unwavering dislike of progressives to be very close-minded. This is too bad because if he would have asked any progressive for advice I’m sure most, if not all, would have strongly suggested that he not leave his keys in his truck while he was away from it. This simple step is the No. 1 deterrent to car theft.
