If you watch the shows about wildlife, then you know that the elements of plastic products are inside the Pacific Ocean food chain. From whales to the small creatures, all have taken up the decomposing trash that has accumulated there thanks to our toss first, think later, minds.
The argument about the single-use plastic-bag ban is not about “jobs,” it’s about whether we want to take care of the nicest place humanity will ever call home — earth.
To the skeptics who can’t believe the findings, you are entitled to have an opinion. Whether or not that opinion is based in fact is another matter. You are also free to enjoy a Pacific caught seafood dinner, served care of the plastics industry and their spokespeople.
