I cannot believe the comments from our Gov. Brown about how great the new high-speed rail system will be for California. The billions of dollars that will be spent could instead bring much needed water to our dry Valley.
Has anybody run the numbers on bringing water here from the Columbia River that flows straight to the ocean in the Northwest? Whether this is feasible or not, there must be other ways to bring water where it is needed.
Like most times, some things don’t make sense when we, the people, rely on our politicians.
