John Evans, former ambassador to Armenia, is a champion of decency for defending abused justice, and of scholarship for seeing the truth and rescuing it from deceit, denial and politics. He is the first presidential appointee to break away from corrupt politics and to protect his own intelligence and dignity by recognizing the Armenian Genocide by the Turks in 1915.
We greatly appreciate the leadership and dedication of Rep. George Radanovich, who for years has tirelessly worked to keep the Armenian cause alive in Congress; Chuck Poochigian, who was the driving force in Sacramento; and the staff of The Bee, who understand the plight of the Armenians, exhibit fair journalism, thus respecting and heralding the truth.
