In reference to Bill McEwen's column (April 12) on the problem of Deputy Mayor Roger Montero being accused of sexual harassment: Since when, in a country that prides itself as being the champion of righteousness, for the entire world, is it right to condemn a fellow citizen on accusations that have not yet been proven?
Then for him to have the unmitigated gall to say, that regardless of the outcome of the investigation, Mr. Montero has out-lived his usefulness to this city, is as asinine a bit of journalistic garbage as I have ever read.
This lady's lawyer is already talking settlement. Isn't it funny how money is a quick cure-all for all that ails you?
Who's next fellow citizens -- me? You? All that has to happen is for it to be said, according to Bill McEwen.
