The Fresno County Board of Supervisors will be meeting Thursday and Friday morning at Harris Ranch, 24505 W. Dorris Avenue, Coalinga (freeway exchange at SR198 and I-5).
The subject at that special meeting is to be “Reflections on the future of the County of Fresno: Review Vision and Mission Statements, Review Guiding Principles, Review Departmental Goals.”
The notice of the special meeting was posted late last week and the location makes it difficult for the public to attend such an important discussion by our board of supervisors. These kind of “special meetings” raise questions about violations of the Brown Act and conflicts of interest over land use and development as well as the use of public funds.
I urge the county staff and supervisors to rethink these kind of meetings before they schedule another one.
Never miss a local story.
