The Fresno Bee on March 25, led with a story on how Rep. Nunes’ friends say he is being unfairly treated because he is a dairy farmer from Podunk.
I was raised in a dairy farming family in more of a Podunk than Tulare. Those who criticize Nunes do not criticize him for his farming background.
However, if it’s possible for a 5-year-old to graduate with a high school education in 12 years, it should be possible for someone with a college degree and 14 years of congressional experience to conduct himself in an ethical manner.
I learned in 10th grade civics class the meaning of separation of powers. Since Nunes hasn’t learned that by now, he should not only resign from the sensitive Intelligence Committee, but also resign from Congress.
Never miss a local story.
