This letter is a long overdue thanks to the Kings County courthouse officials who assisted my wife and me in uniting my son and grandson for the first time.
Unfortunately, I do not know the names of all the people involved. However, each department employee we spoke to was kind, receptive to our questions and gave their best effort to help us. In some cases, I believe they went beyond what was required of them to guide us through the requirements for legal unification.
We spoke to employees in at least a half-dozen departments, a security official on the grounds, and even a private citizen in the hallway who assisted us in the use of the public-access computer.
Kings County citizens can be proud of the people serving them in their courthouse. They were a living example of how our government is supposed to represent and serve us.
They were an answer to our prayers. Thank you.
