In response to the letter to the editor, “Compare Hillary’s great résumé to Trump’s shady deals”:
From what I’ve seen on the news, Hillary Clinton is untrustworthy and unpredictable. If Hillary was running against a normal Republican nominee, then she would have no chance.
Americans are scared to vote for Donald Trump because he isn’t the average presidential candidate. Trump has established his credibility, and he truly cares about making our country great again. Each presidential candidate has some aspects of shady deals in their past, but Clinton’s countless scandals outnumber Trump’s shady deals.
Shady business deals are nothing compared to hiding emails from the FBI. Americans wanting to vote for Clinton often look past her scandals and remain supportive. Yes, Hillary has an in-depth résumé that acknowledges her countless efforts to: provide health care, support America after 9/11, and represent women and children, but she has still taken part in deceitful acts.
Trump has made his own wealth and handles the economy in a professional manner. His résumé consists of owning a business, providing jobs for Americans and succeeding as a businessman. People need to look past events and make the most reasonable decision.
