Two of our Valley’s finest institutions, Valley Children’s Hospital and Fresno State have both been honored by U.S. News and World Report for excellence recently. National recognition for two jewels in our community, led by bold and visionary leaders, Todd Suntrapak and Joseph I. Castro.
Valley Children’s was recognized as being one of the nation’s best children’s hospitals in neonatology, for taking care of the smallest and most fragile babies with remarkable outcomes. Fresno State was recognized as the top public university in the country for reaching its graduation rate goals.
As a community member and mother of four young children, I am beaming with pride and have a strong sense of thankfulness that all of our Valley’s children have access to the highest quality of health care and education, right here at home.
The teams at Valley Children’s and Fresno State deserve a standing ovation for the work they do daily to ensure that from birth to graduation, Valley kids are healthy, ready to learn and supported to succeed!
Never miss a local story.
