Judging by the narrowing presidential poll margins, voters are paying attention to how closely aligned the Clinton Foundation was to the Secretary of State office when — guess who? – was serving as secretary of state.
Investigations thus far have revealed nothing illegal, but people who gave money to the Clinton Foundation did get to meet with Secretary of State Hillary Clinton.
This sticky bit of news inspired Sunday’s editorial cartoon from The Bee’s SW Parra, who believed that it didn’t require a caption.
But the Beat Our Caption contest, like show business, must go on.
Never miss a local story.
And the winner is ... “Everything must go, even your dignity” submitted by Michelle Zues.
We hope she likes coffee because the prize is a Starbucks gift card.
Attention local businesses: If you sell gift cards, let us know because we’d like to invest our contest budget locally.
Honorable mention bragging rights go to:
“Selling our country one piece at time”
– Jim Spalding
“Pardon me, but Hillary wears the pants in this family folks”
– Richard Wolf
Thanks for playing and look for the next Beat Our Caption contest Friday on fresnobee.com and The Bee’s social media.
