Donald Trump, the Republican presidential candidate, will hold a private fundraiser in Tulare County in a few weeks, the office of Rep. Devin Nunes, R-Tulare, said Friday.
Nunes’ chief of staff Anthony Ratekin confirmed that a fundraiser is in the planning stages by the Trump campaign.
The date, time and place of the fundraiser have yet to determined.
It appears that Trump would like to raise campaign money from conservative farmers.
During a visit to Fresno in May, Trump thrilled supporters with statements such as “There is no drought” and by promising more water if elected president.
Attempts to reach the campaign Friday were unsuccessful.
