Construction for California’s high-speed train project is closing a section of Tuolumne Street in Fresno for several weeks in April and May
The closure will affect Tuolumne Street’s intersections with H and G streets for utility relocation work. Crews are building a new Tuolumne Street bridge between F Street and Broadway to span the future high-speed rail tracks as well as the existing Union Pacific Railroad freight tracks through downtown Fresno.
The work was expected to begin Thursday and continue for about three weeks. Road signs will be in place to direct drivers on detours around the work.
