    The ongoing, statewide California State University strike authorization vote was punctuated Thursday at Fresno State with a "Race to the Bottom" skit by California Faculty Association members to illustrate what they call an inadequate 2 percent compensation increase. The vote, online and in person, by faculty members at the 23 CSU campuses started Monday and continues through Oct. 28. No dates have been set for a possible walkout, and the earliest one would happen is January, CFA President Jennifer Eagan told The Associated Press this week.
