A Selma Unified School District teacher has been nominated for a national award.
Jeremy Miller is a school program manager at Andrew Jackson Elementary School.
Principal Victoria Cuevas nominated Miller for the National LifeChanger of the Year award.
Miller has been a part of the Selma Unified community for 17 years.
As a classroom teacher, academic district coach and site administrator, Miller brings up-to-date teaching strategies geared towards leveraging technology in a school setting, Cuevas said.
The LifeChanger of the Year award, funded and run by the National Life Group and the National Life Group Foundation, recognizes K-12 school educators and employees for making a positive impact in the lives of their students.
