Clovis Chamber of Commerce will hold an information meeting Wednesday (Aug. 6) about the coming Young Entrepreneur Academy (YEA!), a 30-week entrepreneurship program for middle and high school students.
Starting in November, the after-school course is designed to provide learning in business and performance skills. Students will interact with local business people and establish their own licensed companies by the end of the class.
Being presented in California for the first time, the YEA! program was first established in 2004 and has been held throughout the country.
The meeting will begin at 6 p.m. at Clovis Chamber of Commerce. For more information visit www.clovischamber.com or call Fran Blackney at (559) 299-7363.
