Fresno State students began moving into the residence halls for fall semester at 9 a.m. Thursday. More than 1,000 students were expected to check in as Fresno State begins its 100th year.
Fraternity members were on hand to help students lug their belongings. Activities planned for incoming students included an information fair, barbecue, music, dancing and games. Move-in continues through the weekend with activities ranging from parent-answer sessions to a welcome from university President John Welty and other top campus officials.
Classes will begin Monday.
