A Hanford man was arrested Monday after police said he dropped a bag of methamphetamine before a foot chase with officers.
Officers were in the area of Kaweah and Cameron streets when they saw the man. When the man saw the officers, he dropped the bag of meth and fled, the Hanford Police Department said.
When officers caught up to the man and arrested him, they found him in possession of a digital scale and packing materials, police said.
Daniel Griggs, 31, was found to have two “no bail” warrants for his arrest already, plus two $5,000 warrants in Kings County, police said.
